Verandah Sportswear
Verandah Sportswear was started in 1991 by Ashley Goul &
Ferris Deal Goul. They began as a contract manufacturer in the sewing
business. They have since evolved into a custom manufacturing company and a custom manufacturing/embroidery company. The bulk of the business is the manufacturing of jackets made with polo fleece and poplin. The jackets are embroidered and sold to corporations with the company logo sewn on. They also purchase finished, brand name garments, embroider these and ship to
their customers.
Primary customers include Albertson's, Inc., Great Floors, Inc., Sysco Food Service, Pro Team, Inc. The Source, and Franklin Building Company.
The CDFI loan allowed the Goul's to term out existing debt and helped facilitate a $230,000 loan from Key Bank to acquire their current location. For more information visit www.verandahsportswear.com.
