The Idaho-Nevada CDFI is a United States Department of Treasury, CDFI Fund, designated Community Development Financial Institution and Community Development Entity. We are a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization with a board of directors drawn from the banking and community development industry. We also own a for-profit corporation, Idaho-Nevada Finance, LLC which is a Treasury designated Community Development Entity.
The CDFI directs its lending and services to those areas of the west designated by the CDFI Fund as CDFI eligible, with our primary market being the states of Idaho and Nevada. However, on a case-by-case basis we will consider projects in other western states having distinct community development impact. We provide financing to both for-profit and non-profit organizations.
Over 95% of the CDFI's capital comes from equity equivalent investments provided by banks serving the western United States. Please visit the Investor page in our website to learn more about the banks and other organizations which provide us capital.
